The spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our region, across the country and around the world is undoubtedly causing concern for you, your family and your community. We want you to know that at EasternEdge Credit Union, the well-being of our members, staff and community is our priority.

WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS BUT OPERATING A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY

We have very closely monitored and adjusted to the pandemic situation since its onset while successfully managing to keep operations open.  As we are now into Alert Level Two and the environment seems (dare we say) stable, we believe it is time to incorporate a few additional practices into our operations.  

Effective immediately, we will permit three people at a time to enter the building.  While our front door will remain locked, an intercom system will soon be installed at the entrance.  Simply press the button to speak with us and gain access.

We realize that members may choose to wear a mask while visiting.  For security reasons, please understand if an employee asks you to lower it quickly for identification purposes before allowing you to enter.  Once inside, floor decals and plexiglass barriers will help everyone maintain physical distancing.

Our objective is two-fold.  We remain squarely focused on maintaining employee and member wellness and on providing a safe environment for uninterrupted financial services. 


24/7 ACCESSIBILITY

Changes to our building access won’t change access to your funds or banking services. We encourage you to utilize the extensive online and digital banking options at your disposal. Online and mobile banking allow you to view accounts, pay bills, send money through Interac e-Transfer®, and deposit cheques with Deposit Anywhere™.

If you are not currently signed up for online banking, you can submit a form at app.honestmoney.ca/register and we will contact you to complete the registration or you may call our office during regular business hours. You can logon to our online banking at: www.easternedgecu.com or download our mobile app for Androidor iPhone®. Don’t worry if you need assistance because we can walk you through these services step-by-step over the phone.

Other convenient ways to access your funds include telephone banking through TeleService®, our drive thru ATM, and the credit union’s surcharge-free Ding-Free® ATM network. If you do not currently have an EasternEdge Credit Union debit card, please reach out to us as it is another means to ensure easy access to your accounts in the days and weeks ahead. Also feel free to take advantage of our night depository to make deposits, at any time.
